We've got here an archer's view of High Petergate Street (which leads to St. Peter's Minster/cathedral, naturally). Supposedly one can see a church or pub from anywhere on York's walls. I'm not sure I can pick out the church here, but pubs are plentiful -- but that's not why this is called High Petergate). Today this street is often lined with buskers and performers entertaining pedestrians on their way to the Minster. In earlier times, it was the boyhood street of that early terrorist Guy Fawkes.
