Burghaus Castle, Bavaria, Germany -- Supposedly these cannon balls (now turned into sculpture) were meant for the cannon in the "pepperbox" towers we passed on the way in. The rich dukes fortified Burghaus as it was their second home and they thought the Ottomans might invade their realm.
