Schloss Herrenchiemsee, Bavaria, Germany -- A most unusual riding position. The winged trumpeter is the goddess Fama ("Pheme" in Greek). She serves pretty much as the patron saint of gossipers. The trumpet lets whispers turn into outrageous rumors. While she may be millennia old, if she came back today we'd probably give her a reality TV show.
