Bergamo, Lomardy, Italy -- July 2006 -- The eastern edge of the middle floor of the Scamozzi Library facade holds this shrine. The carved figures are, unfortunately, at least double amputees. The marble at top has held up much better. The library also incorporated the entrance to an old church now mostly gone. What's left is a warehouse for the library.
