Rodin was allowed to live in the Hotel Biron, an ancient mansion that had most recently been a Convent of the Sacred Heart, until his death in 1917. For rent, he gave most of his collection to the government. Here's a few of the works left behind:

While the house if filled with Rodin's art collection (much of it by his own hand), the Garden is one of the most beautiful enclosed spaces in Paris. Here's a view of the south end of the garden:

Near the Rodin is Napolean's tomb under the golden dome of the church shown below:
Surrounding this church was the original (and still) veteran's hospital built before the revolution, called the Hotel des Invalides, which also contains a military museum.
